They are generally created by anyone who has access to the internet and relevant software, they upload it onto the internet and from then on gets spread through word of mouth from people who see it and then show their friends.

How are meme's published and who publishes them?
Memes are usually published by the person or people that have created them and they are published onto the internet for everyone to see i.e. Youtube.

My Favorite Meme is: 'Hitler Get's Banned From Xbox Live'

Write an explanation discussing your memes popularity as well as your personal thoughts on why it's so popular.
I think this meme is so popular because Hitler is seen as such a terrible and evil man, it's hilarious to see him having a tantrum about being banned from xbox live. The video has already had 6,047,462 views since being uploaded in June 7th 2007. My favorite part is when there are suggestions of  new consoles, and the Wii is rejected instantly and then Hitler say's 'Hell! I'm so desperate for a games console right now, I may be forced to go out and buy a god damn PS3' It's just funny on many levels.

What is the legacy of your meme? Has it been copied or parodied? How did you find it originally?
Yes. Other's have appeared on YouTube. Including:

  • Hitler finds out Michael Jackson has died
  • Hitler finds out he was not accepted to Hogwarts
They have used other clips from the film the first one has. I didn't really know about this video until today.
