Fashion Website Planning
The name of my magazine is Radiance.
I went through 4 other names before deciding on Radiance, these were:
- Spotlight
- Chic
- Elegance
- Heels
I have chosen to create a female magazine. I want my magazine to feature high end products but also, the closest matching item to it that is in the high street.
My magazine would include what is on the catwalks and how it looks on the high street. And also a game where you have to guess 2 outfits, one would be the expensive option and the other would be the high street option. At the end of the magazine, the answer would be there along with the prices of the items and where they are stocked.
It would also feature one item and how many ways it can be worn.
It would feature an advice section. There would be an agony aunt on many topics such as relationships, Careers, Family and life in general.
It will also have life stories of people and then offer support to readers if they have gone through the same thing.
Make up trends that are on catwalks and how they can be created in a cheaper way.
Reviews of different products by different women
Different ways to style hair and the products to do it with.
Different exercises that are written about as well as their difficulty rating and
There would also be a personal shopper section where members of the public can win an opportunity to appear in the magazine after a make over, family and friends can volunteer someone so that their look can be updated.
I’m also going to have people reviewing different products, like a new dress to a shop, to see what body shapes the dress will suit and advise how to wear it. Make up and styling product will also be reviewed with their quality and how long they last.
Colour Scheme. I like the purple and turquoise blue together well with both of them. These will be the colours I will use for my magazine and website.

I prefer Masthead 2 to Masthead 1. It has more colour and looks different to other mastheads I have seen. I added the blue behind it because I think they contrast each other well.

This is my final masthead, I decided to add a flower to my title to make it a bit more interesting.
